Do you ever replace just the float or what are the determining factors when a complete fuel pump /filters are required. Is this a decision based on while your there just do it all because the labor is the same either way?

2008 VV…purchased in 2015 with 28k now with 70k. I’d like to congratulate Rylan on his entrepreneurial ascent into the cyber world! With many years of free advice under his belt this is a natural progression to capitalize and continue to provide a fantastic continuation of the Victory brand. I believe this effort only solidifies his commitment to the brand and its followers. Well done Rylan and here’s to your continued success!!

Note: I never suck tubing…I use a syringe or turkey baster. I then open any bleeder with the tubing attached. I then pull the handle/pedal and strap it in the “open” position. This allows gravity to do the work rather than pumping and possibly introducing air into the system. I continue to maintain a visual on the reservoir and keep it topped off with DOT fluid until the bleeder valve has clear fluid coming out. I also use speedbleeders-a one way valve but that’s my preference.
