I have a PCV, and I have contemplating the switch to a Maximus tuner. Is worth the switch? Also are there any left to be installed?

“Worth” is a matter of opinion.

Some will say “Absolutely” Others will say “Mine other controller works fine, why would I spend $1000 to switch?”

    Both are valid responses.

I have enough Maximus units to get me through the next several years, as well as http://www.noemtz.com if you can’t make it to my shop.

    Here is my opinion.

My journey with Cross Country tuning began with the infamous Cobra Fi2000 because its supposedly ‘easy’.. Yes, it was easy to install and gave what I perceived as a boost, but for the cost it was horrible.

I’ve also had many tunes a PCV, mainly because I kept changing components such exhaust, etc.

After having the Maximus tune, I can say it has never run stronger or smoother as perceived by me.

It is worth it esp if you want to keep the bike for any period of time. The ECM in motorcycles have been extremely restricted since the beginning for HD in 1999. It is easy to make those ecms ping on a hot summer day with a stock motor.

Im shocked that Vics run as OK as they do on stock parts. But actually getting on the motor was a mess for me. stock tunes are just barley letting a motorcycle run IMO.
