This 2007 Kingpin started as a Victory Stage 1 slip-on muffler kit. You can see the Before runs in red. That setup is made to make a bunch of torque from 2000-3000 rpms. But there is nothing going on after that. The After runs are in blue. I swapped the pipes to a RPW Big Deal full system. Then I upgraded the cams (and carriers) to Andrews 413’s and topped it off with a S&S intake. The tuning was done with a re-flashed (by Lloydz) ECM and then a Power Commander 6 with a custom tune on The Vic Shop dyno.

Now you can see that the bike really starts making power at 3000 rpms and then the higher you rev it, the more power it makes!

Good morning, my initial search was for this exact post actually. Using 413s in a 2005-2007, so now that I see you have made a post on the 413s. What is your take on both the 501s and the 413s in a 100ci. What produces better rideability, which cam is, for a lack of better terms the more “reliable” in a 05-07 bike. I have 501s in my Jackpot, and I have a set of 501s and a set of 413s hanging out in the shop, so looking for a word of advice on this from you specifically. Not necessarily asking what is putting down more power, but which produces the best overall rideable performance and reliability if that makes sense.

There is no runability difference between all of the cams on the market. None of them lope or do anything weird like that. They all start up like stock, idle like stock, run smoothly like stock. Literally the only difference is at what rpm range they add or subtract power. I never use 501’s in a 50-07 bike as it will KILL the power under 4500 in exchange for a modest gain between 5000-6000 rpms. Whereas the 413 cam has HUGE gains from 3000-4000 rpms, sometimes 20ft/lbs or more than the 501. And right smack in the middle of the rpm range where it is usable. This statement only applies to the 2002-2007 engines.
