03 Vegas Engine Light
The other day I put my bike away in a hurry and left the key in the on position and the kill switch off. The next morning I went to pull it out and of course it was dead. I’ve had it on my trickle charger/maintainer since and it showed the green fully charged light this morning when I pulled the bike out. I started it to let it warm up and when I came back to it a few minutes later the check eng light was on. I put about 30 or so miles on it before coming home and the light has stayed on. Is this most likely related to completely killing my battery, or is it likely a coincidence and I’ve got something else to dig into now?

While it can be many things, the most logical would be the battery.
