  09-10 Vision Transmission

  Hello, have an 09 vision that may need a transmission rebuild still need to fully investigate. However I see from the parts catalog there are no transmissions available. Besides finding a used motor I am guessing the 2011 transmissions will not work in these bikes?

  They made year to year changes to the transmissions from 2008-2012. I would be very cautious when mixing and matching. Otherwise, yes.

    Thanks that is what I was thinking. Looking for a motor replacement now.

  what symptoms is your bike displaying? a.) jumping out of gear? b.) hard to shift? c.) lost gears? d.) whinning and loose feeling with loud clunks up shifting and down shifting? im curious, how bad it can get?

    Hello Jon in this case the bike would not shift and was actually getting stuck while rolling in neutral. I don’t know if there were any specific symptoms leading up to the failure.
