Just wondering if the 501 Lloyds cams are still your preference for 2017 Cross Country with TriOvals and LLoyds Performance Air Filter?

Only reason I’m unsure is because when I went to Lloyds website after reading your 2022 recommendation post, Lloyds now list the 501 for “Steel Frame” and the 505 for the Cross Country. I’m unsure when the Lloyds 505 came out and wondering if you would now recommend 505 over 501 or in your much more experienced thoughts the 501’s still is your overall go to for low to medium get up and go with the semi restricted exhaust (with Cat) TriOvals exhaust?

Yes, it will get a Maximous tune afterwards. Goal is to have better pull from the stop and better passing pull from a freeway cruise speed (70-85mph) with out risking too much of the great reliability of the bike. I started getting a increasing lifter knock noise (especially after long hot rides) So while the got her open, best time to bump up the cams.

Please share on what your thoughts are now on this subject nearly 5 years later and have a Great Day.
