How long have you owned the bike and are you willing to invest significant amounts of time and money into bringing up the fuel mileage?
If you said “only a few weeks, and no” then you’re good. I imagine that the fuel economy will improve after you and the bike get used to each other, you’ve had time to complete all the maintenance, and the environmental conditions change.
Otherwise, if you consider this to be a major problem, and you’re willing to invest some time and money into fixing it, then reply as such and I’ll steer you to the next steps. The next steps are some maintenance and then a swap to a far more sophisticated engine tune rather than the one-size-fits-most tune the bike likely has now. But there will be significant time and money invested.
