I’ve been trying to follow this power plan as closely as I could on a slim budget. 2006 Kingpin 100″. I can do basic machining, sheet metal, welding including SS… humbly.

    • Torque Tubes: CHECK. Tracked down a pair of Lloyds or I can fabricate something close.
    • Cams: CHECK. Found v92TC cams. Seems like the best possible choice for the money per something you said somewhere.
    • Timing: Noemtz said ‘No, the software is too old.’ Waiting to hear back from Lloyds. I have no idea how much this would cost.
    • Exhaust: The good options are out of budget so I’m looking into Frankenstein options.

    Questions:

    1. If I borrow the correct PC5, have a map created on a dyno, could Lloyds then load that map directly on my ECU? Then I would give my buddy back his PC5 and save $450.
    2. What is so constricting on the Victory Stage 1 drag pipes? The collector? Baffle diameter? Is there a modification worth doing since I’m going to shell out for a dyno tune?
    3. Is there a cross-fitment opportunity to use like (making this up) headers from a 106″, a 2 into 1 collector from a judge, and fat glasspack or slip-on pulled from a Triumph Rocket, then Frankenweld?

I know you are a purist and I know what you would recommend because you made this great video laying it all out. But I enjoy the creative solutioning and hacking… I just want it to add up to a feeling… between my legs when I twist the throttle. Any wild ideas, tips, rumors, or legends of success would be much appreciated.
