For anyone with a current Maximus tune, or even a PCV, changing mufflers also means adjusting the tune. For people with a Maximus tune, getting it updated is another $500 expense.
Therefore the mufflers would have to make a significant improvement to justify spending $1000 to install his reworked mufflers with an updated tune.
