I have a 2017 High-Ball with the exact same problem. Acts normal most of the time. Once every few rides the speedometer randomly chooses a new “zero setting” around 40-60 mph and stays that way until you stop and shut the bike off. When you turn the ignition key back on the speedometer re-zero’s itself and works fine until the next time. I saw on-line that some 16 or 17 speedometers got replaced under warranty but I’m not sure if that was the same problem. Too late for that anyway. And yes, the speed sensor was replaced by the dealer (not a Polaris shop) before I bought it.
