    Rylan,

    Thank you for the information. But we found oil in the weather pack plug between the stator and the regulator. It was FULL of oil! Don’t know how that happened 😕. Seems to have been the cause of our problem. Have you ever heard of this happening? Cleaned out the plug, then put the bike back together and took it for a test drive. So far so good. Will take it for a longer ride tomorrow.
