Tank and fuel pump upgrade?
I know this isn’t exactly a fuel pump rebuild question but I think I’m in a unique position, so I’m going to start out by saying I have a 2007 jackpot, I know the fuel pump need rebuild, it’s needed for the last couple of year, but I also need a new tank (current tank met the railing on my trailer while loading, the first time I’ve ever trailered a bike) thus I’m going to repaint my bike. Which bring me to my question, is it possible to switch to the newer style tank and fuel pump?

Yes, that is possible. You fuel level light may not work the same and you’ll have to fabricate a fuel line that will work with the new tank and old fuel rail, otherwise it should bolt right up!

Thank Rylan, so I have purchased the new tank and fuel pump, and fuel line to splice into the current fuel system or at the very least use the ends to fab a whole new line. I ran into a problem, the fuel line I purchased doesn’t seem to be the right one it doesn’t come even close to fitting on the nipple all the way. So I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction for the fitting I need for the fuel pump, this is the pump I got

They come from the UK.
or you could buy a used line from a salvage bike. Also an ebay thing.
