    Hello there.

My 2011 XC have a leaking rear shock. As I understood, it is a common thing with Victory air adjustable shock. People on the internet says that it is good to install Penske 8975 because new OEM will be same gamble for almost the same price. Thing is that it is not really nice to order stuff from US to Europe.
May be somebody knows, are there analogs from Ohlins or Blistein or other companys which are more common in EU?
And also if i install custom suspension on the rear, what can I install to the front?

I do not know of any analogs to the Penske shock.

Personally I don’t have any problem with the OEM shock. The ease of use is nice and I don’t have to teach myself how to dial in an aftermarket shock. Very few people actually take the time to dial in their aftermarket shock. 99% of them just run it like it came out of the box and never take full advantage of what they purchased.

It would be nice if the OEM shock was rebuildable however.

Only problem I see – OEM shock have a big chance to leak at 60k km. Please, cotrrect me if i am wrong here. And yes, it is not rebuildable, if it leaks I need to buy next one

The mileage that the stock shock gives up will depend. Plenty of guys get more than 60k, some get less, yes.
