This Cross Country came to me from 1000 miles away to have the transmission fixed. And while it was here, of course, we had to make lemonade from those lemons, so we topped it off with a Revolution 117” big-bore kit. Rounding out the package is Lloydz 501 cams, Lloydz air filter, and gutted stock mufflers. You can see the “Before” run in red, and the “After” run are the blue lines. The Before lines are when the bike came to me with nothing but the mufflers. Stock paper air filter and all! Now, with the new combo making 30 ft/lb gain throughout the rpm range, I think the customer is going to fall in love with this bike all over again!

So did the heads get minimum bowl cleanup or the full blown $2000 port & larger valves? I was wondering as I am leaning toward big bore and was wondering how much of a difference there is the 2 ends of the head work.

    This is a minimum cleanup.

How much difference is there between the 2?

The last time I had heads done it was $3500 for the heads alone and it made about 8 more horsepower and torque than the stock heads.
