Safety tip
So fellow victory riders, let me give a safety tip for those who work on their own bikes.
It is entirely possible for a screw driver bit to fall down and rest in the bottom of your triple tree rather than falling to the floor and bouncing who knows where when say changing your headlight bulb.
What’s the big deal you might ask? Well if it sits in the right place you may have limited turning in one direction. And that may catch you by surpise when say you have all right turns out of your place and you are happily cruising down the road and then go to turn left into the gas station but the bike doesnt turn and you are suddenly on your side with traffic coming at you.
Good news was everyone stopped in time and the crash/highway bars did their job so other than some light road rash on my elbow all is good.
Moral of the story? Don’t just assume that bolt/screw fell to floor and bounced to where you can’t find it. FIND THAT B***H.So fellow victory riders, let me give a safety tip for those who work on their own bikes.
