Replacing regulator on 2014 crossroads.
There’s five Leads coming out of the regulator; three coupled to a male/female plug and two, a negative attached to the block and the positive coupled into a connector. My question is how best to detach the old positive and attach the new positive without shredding the red rubber insulating cover on the whole shebang. Simple, right? How best do I do it without fudging up the works…need a walkthru.

The red rubber cover just flips to the side so you can access the nuts underneath…
