No Spark
Posted by Gary on August 4, 2022 at 9:19 amIt tries, but no start. Turns over, but wont fire.
PCV installed for 12 years
pulled the plugs to verify no spark
What are my leading suspect issues and how do I verify the culprit?
Thanks

Start with the simple, check for spark at the spark plugs, insure the coils are firing. Check all fuses, can you hear the fuel pump prime when ya turn the ignition on? What’s the voltage before you hit the start button and during? Have you replaced the 40A circuit breaker? Good luck

Check if the coils are firing at the spark plug wires, Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn on ignition? What voltage do you ya have at the battery before you hit the start button and during? Check all fuses also, if that turn signal relay is burned up the bike will not start. Good luck!!

Thanks Lance.
I have pulled the plugs to verify no spark
Not sure how to check the coils?
Fuel pump is priming
Have not replaced the 40 Amp fuse. Probably should either way
The bike cranks and sounds quite normal trying to start….just wont fire. And I know for sure there is no spark.
