If you’ve ever wondered what tools would make a good kit for your Victory, the rapid response tool rail I keep in my dyno room is a good guide. These are the most common tools I reach for when I’m working on a Vic. Some are certainly dyno specific (like the 02 sensor chase) but the others can tackle many common tasks. I usually throw this rail (and the stuff in the background) in my saddlebag when I leave for a long trip. I know these tools would cover anything fixable along the way.
From L to R: 5/8 spark plug socket, 10mm socket, long ball 5mm, socket extension, ball 8mm, ball 10mm (dyno specific), 4-5-6-8-10mm straight allens and my 02 chase (again, dyno specific). Combined with a ratchet, some zip ties, a sturdy pliers, and some duct tape would round out the essentials for a Victory saddlebag tool kit.

I was able to pick up a couple extra Victory tool rolls like the one that came with my ’99 & carry one in my Vision. So far it’s taken care of the few minor issues I’ve had on the road & has helped out others that I assisted on the roadside.
