  • Mufflers an hp/torque

Rylan my friend, the time has come I want to calm down the loud big gonzo mufflers. Knowing loud pipes help high hp motors I don’t want to choke down the power. Since my motor makes great hp up to 6800 rpm, in your opinion how would something like Witchdoctors muscle mufflers change the power band? Maybe cut the hp a little but also help the torque?? To break it down, would pipes with baffles drop the hp/ raise the torque in a way I might not like since I do ride mountain two lanes at high rpms????

Just found out Witchdoctors can’t modify Big gonzos into muscle mufflers so scratch that, need another option…

Gone are the days when we had a half-dozen different pipes to choose from and you could taylor the bike for the looks, sound, power you were after.

You take what you can get. If the pipe is too loud, then lets find a quieter pipe and let the power fall where is falls.
