Clean out your rotors!
Tech tip for the day:
Someday you may find that your forks are leaking and you didn’t catch it in time and now your brake pads are all soaked with fork oil.
When replacing your brake pads, don’t forget to thoroughly clean the rotor as well! If you don’t clean it out, the oil and grime gets into the holes in the rotor and will slowly seep out and impregnate your brake pads with oil (again). And I don’t have to explain why getting oil on your brake pads would be undesirable 🤣
This particular bike was so bad that I took the rotor off and brought it to the parts cleaner. It took a lot of scrubbing to clean out all of that grime!
