Check engine light
Hey guys! Im new to Victorys always thought they looked cool but I ended up buying a Vmax first lol. I am having some issues and I was wondering if you guys have ever heard of anything like this before. I have recently bought a 2010 Victory Cross Roads. Did a 2500 km ride on it (sorry I’m not sure what the imperial conversion is…I’m Canadian). I always like to run some fuel injection cleaner with my bikes periodically and since I just bought it I thought to run some through with some 91 octane fuel. Some codes started to pop up, Overcharging system codes, lean/rich running codes. The check engine light would flash and then stayed on. I took it in to a Polaris/Indian dealership to see if they would be able to scan it and clear the code and they said they were able to clear it but the CEL stayed on. The bike ran fine so I carried on with my trip. Got the bike home and started trying to reset the IACv and the TPS stuff. I had a go through with the battery, stator, and reg/rec which all seem to have checked out. Took it in to theblocal Polaris/Indian dealership and they suggested switching out the IACV which i did and the CEL is still there no codes thrown. I dont know if I should change out the O2 sensors or not. I quite like this bike and have thought about trying to sell it to get a XC but I want to fix this issue first. You guys have any ideas? Do i have to keep going to a Polaris dealership to clear the code after every “repair” or will this issue resolve itself?
