A service I offer here at The Vic Shop is building up Extreme Duty clutch setups. I actually call it The Bigass Clutch. The combination is as follows: OEM fibers and plates, Lloydz Variable inner hub, Barnett clutch spring, and an Indian lift rack (for 2011 and newer) . This setup also includes the need for the primary cover to be machined out. Providing all the parts and labor into one service is where I come in. Pictured here a customer has sent me their primary cover and complete, stock, slipping badly, clutch assembly. I rebuild the assembly with all the aforementioned aftermarket parts, swap out their primary cover for a machined version and send it back ready to install. Easy! This is the clutch setup that I use in all the big performance builds I do here at The Vic Shop, but also is a great combination for just a cammed up 106 touring bike, pulling a heavy load and over working what the stock clutch can handle.

Here is the clutch rack mod for 2011 and newer bikes. The original rack doesn’t have enough meat on the back when it’s asked to pull in a Barnett pressure plate. So we’ve taken a rack from an Indian and cut it down to length. The Indian rack has a stronger back that won’t break.

The cost depends on the condition of the parts in your bike. Generally the cost is in the $1400-2000 range, but can vary by many hundreds of dollars, again, depending on the condition of what is inside your bike now.
