    Hello All

I am a new owner of a 99 V92C numbered bike. I have gotten it running from where it wasn’t (previous owner said it sat in a barn for 10+ years) however on the first ride today it ran fine for a while then it started stumbling and sputtering on throttle. The fuel pump periodically makes noises (New fuel filter and cleaned the in line filters and cleaned throttle body of all carbon) and only thing i can think is the fuel pump is going bad. When it gets warm it doesnt provide the pressure needed but i havent confirmed it because i dont have a fuel pressure gauge and i cant recreate until the engine/fuel pump is warmed up enough to check. Have any of you had a similar issue?

Your best bet is to get a fuel pressure gauge and confirm your suspicions. The local parts store will rent them for free.
