2010 XC gear shifter sloppy

Many have added bushings like these to take up some of the slop in the pedals.

The slop is normal. No action need be taken.

If your bike has a ton of miles (over 70K) then maybe the stock parts are worn out. Replace and repair as needed WITH OEM PARTS!!!

******* The aftermarket brass bushings are not machined correctly and will often be too tight and cause shifting issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If my memory is correct. 2010 shifter foot lever is different from 2011 – up. So those brass bushings would not work at all.

Yes, I just purchased a set of hex bushings for my 2010. Hopefully it helps. Thank you for the help & advice.
