2010 Cross Roads mods
This is my first Victory and was wondering, other than a timing wheel and the quarter turn throttle. What other mods would be recommended? I’ve noticed a lot of people run tuners on the bike. Are there pros and cons to this? Is it even worth the money? I just my bike to have more power but not at the cost of reliability. It does have a Vance and Hines aftermarket exhaust on it. Just looking for some recommendation.

Yes, the most popular mod is “The Cam Job” which yes, will involve an aftermarket controller.
How you accomplish The Cam Job, what parts you use, will depend on many variables and kind of requires a conversion about your specific situation. Such as “I live in Alaska where there are no shops” vs “I live a mile from a reputable Victory oriented speed shop” will yield drastic different recommendations. Or “I love a bike that is loud and proud and I want a 7000rpm redline” customer vs a “I just retired and am looking for mild mods so I can take my lady around the lake on a Sunday morning ” type of customer.
