2008-2010 100″ conversion to 106″
Check out the power increase this 2008 Kinging got from going from a 100” engine to a 106” engine!
My customer already had all the right parts on his 2008 Kingpin 100” engine to make good power (intake, cams, and pipe). But the 100’s were just limited by their size and that they have the lowest compression of any engine Victory ever produced. So when the cylinder head inexplicably cracked on the 100” engine, he wanted to make sure I turned it into a 106” engine when I did the rebuild. This is easy enough as you just need the crank/rods/pistons from a 106” donor engine to replace the 100” versions. Now that the bike is back together you can see how just a little bump in compression and stroke can have a wonderful effect on power production. Look at that huge swath of torque increase! And check out the spot I have highlighted (3650 rpms) where the torque went from 110tq to 125tq! Very Nice!
