The recipe is as follows: Lloydz re-flashed ECM, backed up with a Power Commander 5, and a Lloydz Torque Tube intake, working a set of Andrews 413 cams (and the required, newer cam carriers). Not pictured is the RPW “Thor” exhaust. Unfortunately RPW no longer makes this pipe.

Any time we mod a bike with an engine controller, it gets a full custom tune. Here we can see the parts have been installed and it’s getting the PC5 custom tuned on the in-house dyno.

The results: A MASSIVE gob of torque through the midrange, and another 30 horsepower! Look at that torque at 3500 rpms. It went from 92 and falling to 113 and pulling hard!
In case you’re curious: A different set of cams, intake, and exhaust will totally change the shape of the graph, and the peak numbers. I picked this combination because it’s well rounded. Lots of midrange torque and a respectable 30hp peak gain. But an intake and cam (like a S&S intake and 501 cam) that favored the high end of the rpms scale (4000 and beyond) would have made for a screamer with higher peak horsepower (at the expense of power production under 3500rpms or so).
