What’s up guys. I’m looking to start making some power in my 03 Vegas 92ci freedom. Bike has stock air box with the k&n and victory stage 1 pipes. Looking to eventually do torque tubes, a Graffeo exhaust, and maybe even some cams down the road. My big question is tuning. I had been looking into the Lloydz commander and timing wheel but then realized the timing wheels are discontinued for those bikes. Looked into the power commander 6 but the maps for the 92 are few and far between. Can the power commander adjust the timing on the old closed loop bikes? Or would I be better off just running the Lloyd’s commander due to its easy adjustability and leave the timing alone? Thanks in advance victory fam.

I’m in the process of a Freedom swap on my 2000SC. I’m curious of cam selection, and other easy upgrades currently available for the V92 as well.

Your Sport Cruiser is in an even worse boat. There aren’t any controllers on the market for that wiring harness and ECM. You’ll have to keep the combination as simple as intake and exhaust. Going further would require a newer ECM and harness, and then the custom tune on a Power Commander.

All of the parts to hop this bike up exist.

The problem is getting it tuned. You will have to use a Power Commander and and it absolutely, positively, 100% HAS to be custom tuned on a dyno!!!

Because of the variance in base maps and TP sensor voltage differences, base maps cannot be used in a performance application on the 2002-2007 models.

So the question really is: who is doing the tuning?
